MINISTRY NEEDS 2015
Financial assistance: Monetary gifts are used to pay rent and
utilities for the ministry house, storage units, for upkeep and gas for the
van, and for emergency needs (prescriptions, bus tickets, etc). Donations may
be mailed to 1037 Elmwood Ave, Box 11, Columbia, 29201, or made through Pay Pal
on the website.
New backpacks, hoodies, t-shirts,
underwear, socks, and toiletries are needed for the large April and
November events at which these items are distributed.
Men’s Clothing: There is
always a critical for men’s clothing, new socks, and new underwear. Donations
of women’s and children’s clothing are also accepted and distributed. Out of season clothing is stored until
needed.
Warm clothing and blankets for
winter: Coats,
blankets, hooded sweatshirts, gloves, knitted caps (toboggans), warm socks and
footwear.
Lightweight clothing for summer: T-shirts, pants/shorts, underwear, socks.
Meals: Local
churches or groups needed to help provide food and fellowship following Sunday
afternoon worship. Donations of prepared food are also needed for the
Thanksgiving Bash (November), the Christmas Day Meal, and the Anniversary
Celebration (April).
Canned goods and non-perishable food: for seniors
in need.
Bottled water: for meals and
distribution as needed.
Prayer: For Pastor
Oscar and his ministry team; for the homeless.
ON-GOING
NEEDS:

Churches or groups willing to
provide food for after worship and
large event meals.

Donations of: clothing (for men, women, children,
infants), coats, blankets, toiletries (travel size works well), razors, first
aid kits, women’s products, wash cloths, home furnishings (for those
transitioning off the streets), reading
glasses, large print Bibles, back packs, bottled water.
