TENTATIVE CALENDAR

Worship in Finlay Park (every Sunday, rain or shine): Worship begins at 3 pm every Sunday, followed by a meal and clothing distribution. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 2:30 and are encouraged to participate in worship and Christian fellowship with the homeless. Look for us in the end of the park near Gadsden Street.

January and February, 2015:  Summer Clothing Collection Begins - An inventory of T-shirts and pants must be ready for hot weather. There is also a critical need for men's pants (particularly jeans) and shorts in sizes 32-42. Collection of new items for the Anniversary Celebration also begins.

April 12, 2015:  Anniversary Celebration - Happy 10^th Anniversary to Keepin’ It Real Ministries! Because the homeless population is ever changing, and because these items suffer much wear and tear, new backpacks with T-shirts, new underwear, new socks, and toiletries will be distributed. Volunteers are needed to provide food and serve a meal for 450. Worship will begin at 3 pm (Location: Finlay Park)

September,  2015:  Blanket and Winter Clothing Drive Begins - It is time to start stockpiling blankets, coats, hats, gloves, socks, and warm clothing for cold weather, as well as new backpacks, hoodies, t-shirts, and toiletries for the Thanksgiving Bash.

November 8, 2015: Thanksgiving Bash - After worship at 2 PM, new backpacks with new socks, underwear, hooded sweatshirts, and toiletries will be distributed. Volunteers are needed to provide food and to serve a Thanksgiving meal for 450. (Location: Finlay Park)

December 25, 2015:  Christmas Evening Meal - 4.00 PM,  Transit Station, Sumter and Laurel Streets.
